I just have to say it. I, Jennifer Hough, am an animal lover. Often times, I talk to the dog (in my unique dog voices which offer a variety of tones and pitches based on the dog personality I have gleaned) who pulls the owner. The owner to which I do not notice because… DOG!
This is my adorable love, Mazey. Yes, I will use any excuse to show you a picture of my dog. Confession: I like animals more than I like most humans. Yeah, it’s bad.

If you are also infected with the animal loving bug, you know how important it is to ensure our furry friends feel at home too. Although, through shedding, muddy playtime, curious chewing and potential devouring sometimes our pets really don’t care about our homely treasures. Through organization and design tactics, here are some tips to making pet and home creatively copacetic.
Pet Lounging
Relaxing is why we love them and envy them. If only we were allowed to sleep that much in a day. No human can relax like our pets. Here are some imaginative ideas on how to make their lounging/crating areas a special part of your space.

Eating and drinking, what they love to do best. You know how they drink from their water bowls and immense amounts of water oozes down their lolling tongues all over the floor. Much like a controlled burn, give them their own feeding space to drool all over.

What a great concept — and great picture of your dog, Mazey. Love your blog too. I have two dogs– Java and Harry. I need to design a place for them to play comfortably during the day, without tearing up our house…….
HAHA, those names sound so familiar somehow…….. thanks for reading!
Kirby needs some of these!! So cute
Kirby needs to just come and live with his Auntie!!!
It was so nice to see your love of animal spaces … and our Mazey. I need to create a cool space for Rascal.
